The Mission of Robeson County Solid Waste is to provide excellence in public service and accountability with our resources through responsible landfill management, recycling programs, educating the public, environmental control enforcement and participating in waste to energy initiatives.
Department Overview
Robeson County Solid Waste currently employs 25 full-time staff and 79 part-time staff. The Department includes the following areas: landfill, 20 collection sites, recycling, and methane to energy generator program, environmental control as well a full-time garage.
